Verse/Versus is Natasha’s first release in over 2 years. The EP explores themes of longing, desire, and the gray area of a romance felt but unexpressed. This is the first time Natasha has explored less synthesized instrumentation in her music, adding layers of bass guitar and saxophone to accent the influence of 80s post-punk. Verse/Versus is an EP made for the bedroom.

“The main moment of inspiration for this EP came when I was feeling the first flushes of lust, for someone totally inappropriate. I wanted to describe and encapsulate those feelings of unspoken desire that I’ve felt my whole life. The setting was very much me listening to Cocteau Twins in my teenage bedroom alone, wishing she was there with me.” – Natasha Kmeto
